My dad has an 06 megcab 4x4 etc. Before i moved i put a intake and exhaust on it, i'm gonna get him a mild programmer for christmas ( edge evolution) question is will he need a lp too? any and all input is appreciated thanks in advance.

 

Gauges, lift pump, Smarty or EFI for an 06 would be the best for the truck.

 

i was thinking efi live but my brother had it on his 06 and lost 5mpg. my dad would be pissed so thats not something for him. smarty wise ive had one for my truck and its fun but he's very oldschool and doesn't want to have to do much of anything other then push a button

no he got efi live and then we did a 1800 mile round trip and only got 15 highway at 70. my brother didnt care cause it had some power thats for sure. my dad however wants mileage and then some extra go when he pulls his skid and tractor.

 

Most of our customers running EFI Live is getting 19+ mpg

Yes. Typically we send ours with Tow, Performance and Max.

Check out the new csp-5 it's kinda new. It will give him 5 different to choose from on the fly.
