Default TCC question

Can you determine whether you have a single disc or triple disc torque converter by the amount of rpm it pulls the engine down during lockup? Mine seems to consistently drop 600 rpm when lockup engages. If not is there some other way to tell? I have a light, almost baby blue billet converter with no markings that can be seen without taking it off. Curious what I have
Thanks,
Travis

Nope. The rpm drop is the difference between lockup and the fluid coupling, that is all. A single disk would show the same thing.

Ok thanks so is there any way to determine it short of pulling it off and searching for markings to identify it
