Default Tranny Fluid Pan dripping

HEY YALL JUST BOUGHT A 2004 RAM 2500 CUMMINS 4X4 AND I NOTICED THE TRANNY FLUID PAN IS DRIPPING....ITS KIND OF LIKE A SWEATING TYPE THING BUT DRIPS ON THE GROUND.ITS NOT QUITE A LEAK YET BUT I WANNA FIX IT FAST. ANY IDEAS???

Make sure your transmission pan it straight where the gasket sits on it, make sure none of the bolts are stripped out, and go to the dealer and buy a reuseable gasket. They are around $19 plus tax, and they are WAY better quality than the cork ones that come in the filter kits. If you have the money I would buy a mag-hytec or similar deep transmission pan. The extra capacity helps keep your transmission cool and the mating surface is 1/2ish (something like that) aluminum which seals better than a stamped steel stock pan.

Clean it all real good "brake clean" then run it and look for the spot. Could be a pin hole in the case or even the dip stick tube. Get it hot first then search!
