Make sure your transmission pan it straight where the gasket sits on it, make sure none of the bolts are stripped out, and go to the dealer and buy a reuseable gasket. They are around $19 plus tax, and they are WAY better quality than the cork ones that come in the filter kits. If you have the money I would buy a mag-hytec or similar deep transmission pan. The extra capacity helps keep your transmission cool and the mating surface is 1/2ish (something like that) aluminum which seals better than a stamped steel stock pan.

Clean it all real good "brake clean" then run it and look for the spot. Could be a pin hole in the case or even the dip stick tube. Get it hot first then search!
