Default Sick 2006 5.9 cummins

My buddy's 2006 ram2500 5.9 cummins has a issue. He put a waterpump in it a real simple job I though but when he fired it up the check engine light was on and was missing, also seemed to rev slowly like it was in a limp mode.I figured when he removed the fan shroud(big guy needed more room)he smacked the crank sensor.I work mainly on 6l p.strokes so I said take it to dodge and they found a code for the crank sensor and a couple injectors. They said it needed to replace both(even though I doubted the injectors were bad).Replaced them and guess what same thing, dodge tech line tells them to replace harness under valve cover still no good. They are talking PCM next but are scared to do it as they are batting zero.Anybody run into a similar problem I wish I had the codes to help, anything they should check. On a side note my buddy had a little freak out and shook the intake tube.....could he have damaged the maf meter...and would it cause this issue if it was bad...thanx guys

Cycle the ignition on and off 3 times. The codes should pop up on the odometer.

It's in the dodge dealership so I'm out of luck......I'll have my buddy ask them for the codes again...they didn't give him the codes last time he asked I think cause its probably for the same injectors they said were bad...

If he has no extended warranty he may as well bend over and get the lube out. The dealer is going to have a field day on this one. Good luck though.

I'm guessing that it ran fine before the waterpump debacle. Was any antifreeze spilled on connections? I hope you mean yank the truck from the dealer and not yank the motor.
