ok well long story short I just traded in the truck in my sig for 2006 megacab dually with the 5.9 this truck came with the factory Jacobs brand exhaust brake and I need a new exhaust for it since the factory one blew the back out of the resonator and the dealership wants over 600 to fix it might as well get one that flows better and sounds better. my question for you guys since I cant find any info on it can I run a 5 inch or 4 inch turbo back kit with the exhaust brake. do brands matter at all. so ready set go I am looking forward to the replies

 

A 4" will bolt right in depending on how the EB mounts. A 5" will take some mods. What you could do is get a full 5" and use your original down pipe and connect the 5" where the down pipe ends.

 

The outlet of a Turbo mount exhaust brake is the same as the factory cast elbow that came from the factory. So any aftermarket turbo mount kit will fit right up to it, unless the exhaust kit gets rid of the factory cast elbow.

thanks people I ended up getting a 5 inch magnaflow exhaust from a local dealer here in Alaska which made the shipping go away for me and the price cheaper than trying to do it all on my own
