high idle gone
Truck has 212,000 now, recently lost automatic high idle!
I installed quadzilla boost fooler & BD power pup 42500 version 2.4CL tow/economy
awhile back didn't effect high idle. Stumped
My truck is a very early 03 and the bullydog has a setting for using cruise control to manually set cruise but it does not work on mine or others so I've read.
I believe it was the later 03's or 04 with different wheel controls that worked.
Regardless it would be really nice to hear my rig idle up automatically after 3 min like it used to. Shouts out from Central NY
OEF 03
OIF 06

I have an Automatic 47re
I never used to set parking brake and it worked.
I did try setting the parking brake and it doesn't make it work either.
Thanks for the suggestion

I could have sworn it worked after I installed the bully dog. I was wrong.
I can use the tuner's PTO option to manually up the rpm's but I don't leave it hooked up all the time so I suppose 2 by 2 approx 3' long will have to do

I have discovered a coolant leak coming from the bottom of the inspection cover and on the outside of it. Used a bright light to shine up and have found the source I believe.
Looks like the top right hand corner has like a 1 1/2" steel coolant plug leaking. It takes a 1/2 drive ratchet to remove or tighten. Has some red locktite on it. I'm going to try to tighten it a bit to see if that works. Or remove completely and reapply locktite or pipe tread sealer. Breaker bar won't fit so I'll have to use a buddies swivel head 1/2 ratchet. I have read posts on the small pipe with heat wrap that is prone to leaks on 06's. Mine is old and rough looking but no leaks on this 03. There's some great reads on here thanks to all and keep up the good advising. I'll try to help out too in what I find with mine. I've had 3 gen 2's in the past. Recently removed stock carter fuel pump and Installed a fass electric drp4 pump on the frame by the tank as posts said too as an upgrade. This pump was leaking where I thought was the weap hole! Ended up being where the wires go to the white plug on the rear of the pump. There were air bubbles and fuel coming out. Sent back to FASS and they are repairing. I hope they fix it right I was pretty discouraged about a brand new pump leaking at an electrical connection point. I almost grabbed jb weld to gob it all up by why? Let them fix it I say. Hope you guys have had better luck with a direct replacement pump.
