Default 2005 5.9 cummins getting hot at an idle?

When running in stop and go traffic and at an idle, the temperature goes up and my ac starts blowing hot. But when I am on the interstate in stays cool and ac blows cold. I have changed my fan clutch and my thermostat. I have codes of 0480, and 0483 please help before this az heat comes.

Have you flushed the radiator? Got an AC system inspection? May need to recharge the AC.

No I have not flushed the radiator or had the AC checked. 0480 code says cooling fan 1 control circuit open low speed fan relay, and 0483 says cooling fan speed. What does these codes mean?

The codes mean no power to the fan. Check the connection and for any damage to the harness. As far as getting hot I put a fan on the condensor to kick on with a switch. For A/C dodges are known for not moving enough air across the condensor causing high head pressure and hot air conditions, in extreme situations I've seen the overpressure relief blow! Since the fan install it runs cold in any traffic or temp! After you put the fan in have the A/C checked just incase you lost some freon to blow off!

There is power at the plug to the fan clutch. I turn the key on and check the plug with a test light and there is good power to one wire and a lower power to another ( the test light bulb does not light up bright). Confused,

I have also had my fan clutch wires cut the fan wires are hanging with no plug but I don't know where the wire harness to the truck is. Does any one know where they run to?? Any help will b r greatly appreciated thanks
