Question using oil/white smoke after prolonged idle

Ok I have a question for the experts.i have a new engine in my truck 05 common rail new turbo new injectors.Only parts on the whole motor not new is the fuel system.235000 on truck 20000 on new motor. if I let the truck idle for prolonged periods lets say 20 min to 1 hour when I take off it rolls white smoke out pretty good.it uses some oil and the motor is wet where the exhaust manifold bolts to the head. runs smooth and great. average 18 mpg only performance mod is an edge ez a cold air intake and straight pipe.why could it be smoking and using the oil? could it be the injectors or valve seals possibly? im at a loss with this one.thanks in advance

Could be seals or rings... It's a new engine somethin could of happened plus on break in there very touchy you gotta baby the crap out of them owners manual breaks it down pretty good if you don't follow the guidelines premature damage can occur.
