What if I knew a guy who could pick me up the exact same truck as mine it might be rolled over or have a salvage title but with the drivetrain in tact yet for all of about 1300 bucks with the 6 speed and everything I would need to swap it? What would you say then?

sounds like a plan if you would enjoy a standard more than an automatic!

for $1300 hell yea do it! u can sell parts and take the tranny and make money possibly. sell your old auto for some too, sell axles, seats, dash, motor parts, whatever you want.

if you dont do it your crazy

Haha yeah I figured after I could sell all I could salvage off the junk rig I would atleast come out with all I spent factoring in selling my old Auto trans.

Hmm im gettin a good deal on some 35in tires on 20in rims for my truck and Im thinking about purchasing the smarty right away to just for the speedo recalibrate I was also wondering if say I ran the programmer on sw4 or sw3 with torque management at stock... would it still make the truck smoke and not fry the trans?

Yeah probably . But gotta stay focused on the point of getting the smarty. But I guess thats kind of like giving someone a million dollars and saying hey you can only spend 100.00 of it.
