Default 3500 Rear Spring Pack

I bought my '06 3500 used, and didn't notice this on the test drive. This thing is rough, like it will bouce the wife half outta the seat going down the highway. It isn't my first dually... I know the ride rough but this ridiculous. Anyways, the rear spring pack, how many leaves should it have? Mine has 6 long ones, 2 short on the bottom, and then 2 overload leaves. Sure looks like a lot... how about anyone else?
