I have been on that crossroads man, but you gotta spend some money to get a quality product. The only reason I went for my 5" was, because the dealer in my area quoted me a "buddy price" of $450 out the door for the kit and I could not pass on it. Best of luck to you no matter which one you choose.

Thanks, Luke. I'm gonna make a decision soon, I'm sure.

4inch turbo back with MBRP muffler. Good sound, but not too loud.

I have the 4" Diamond Eye on my 12 valve and I like it. I had it welded rather than using the clamps though.

IMO any 4 inch will work, but the muffler is the important part. I went with MBRP after having the AFE muffler that came with my AFE Exhaust Kit. I Didnt much care for the sound of the AFE Muffler. I had been to a truck show, about a year ago, and saw a highly lifted 07 Dodge cummins 4x4 dually driving in. It sounded pretty darned good. I got with the owner and he said he had an MBRP Muffler. I went with that and love it. Relatively mellow for the most part, but put it to the floor and you'll definately hear it. you may be able to find sound clips of different mufflers, on line, if that helps.

Thank you. That is helpful.

Maybe we can mix it up a little, huh? Maybe I can get a quote on an aluminized kit, w/out a muffler and add the MBRP. I'll look into that.

Or, maybe just get the diamond eye and if we don't like the sound add the MBRP later. I already am probably gonna have to add the tip later. They seem to cost about the same as the kits!

Look on eBay for tips they have a large selection with decent prices. Also you maybe able to find a promotion that includes a tip when you buy a kit.

We have plenty of exhaust tips to choose from for 4" or 5" systems.
