The other day my truck wouldn't go past 2200rpm I checked fuel pressure and and it dropped below 10 at 1500 and kept falling so I ordered a Fass 150 platinum installed it and it still won't run past 22-2400 my truck is stock with the exception of the Fass, boost elbow, exhaust, BHAF. My fuel pressure doesn't get below 12 now and the truck starts, idles, and still has great response it just won't open up? The only codes on the truck is for the fuel level sender and the generic bus fault. My truck has 3.55's and 34" tires so it never sees past 1800 rpm the other day I had it in low 4wd in first that's the first and only time since I've owned the truck that it's reved that high and I've never seen the fuel pressure on the low side so I'm hoping my IP is ok any help is appreciated.

 

My 99 has just done the same thing, except it only goes to 1100 rpm. Have you found anything yet? Thanks

 

Turns out my tach isn't reading correctly my truck is opening up its just not showing on tach haven't decided whether its the cluster or the CPS though.

 

Thanks for responding, and I'm glad you were lucky. I finally found a friend with a reader and it came up 1688, the death code. I replaced the IP and that seems to have fixed my problems.

 

I was really worried, I hate to hear your ip was dead I'm waiting for mine to die I'm thinking about p-pumping if I can find my next truck by then I'm looking for an 02 6spd.
