Yes the dash does come out in one piece, harness and all. Haynes manual has a good write up for removing the dash, it's well worth the 20 sum bucks they cost. Might wanna put a heater core in well you're in there since you gotta pull the dash to do it.

Knowing that, I'll probably swap dashes too then, anything I should be aware of as far as the airbags go? Will they be fine just as long as no power is hooked up?

I've had my dash out several times, and never had any trouble with the airbag. I just unplugged it and took it out. Never messed with the one in the steering wheel though, so that might be another story if you're changing the wheel.

Steering wheel will stay the same, just have to take the auto shifter off the column, clock spring, I assume went out of the steering wheel in the blue truck, the airbag light came on and the cruise quit working.

Dodgeran2500ctd, you wouldn't happen to know the paint code of that cab. I know a truck that would look better without the rustoleum red Hood...

I got some time to go a little farther and have ran into problems, went to put in radio, it won't come on, so I started checking everything, so far everything works but the radio (it won't come on -stock radio) and the wipers won't come on, spin the wiper switch and the relay under the hood clicks once, tried different relays and and a different motor with the same result.....any ideas?

Iod fuse good? Its in the cab fuse box. Forget which number but your owners manual should say. I think its farthest to the front on the bottom row, 10 amp fuse. Has a weird cover on it i guess its supposed to be tamper proof.

The wiper fuse is a 25 amp on the top row, the two tamper proof are airbag and I think cluster, can't remember, regardless the fuses are good, I guess there's a wiper delay module under the dash to the left of the steering wheel, I tried both of them and still the same result.
