Default low boost/ high egts

during normal driving my truck has low boost ( under 10 psi) and high egts ( over 1000). checked intercooler and boots , wastegate, and for leaks around the intake manifold all good. any ideas?

Possibly your turbo? Too big for keeping good air under dd situations? I cant remember the size of it but i remeber it being a bigger one and sounds like its not a good match

Know the size of exhaust housing of the turbo? As said above, that could be the issue. Performance turbos have a larger exh housing to flow better. Downside is they don's stay spooled up like a smaller exh housing.
Wastegate, if applicable, could also be an issue. If it is open a crack at low pressure, it bleeds drive pressure off.

A key inside the injection pump? Not on a VP44. There is a key way on the shaft to align it to the gear.

Doesnt sound right. My guess at this point is if your not loosing boost and everything else is in working order its the turbo, if i remember correctly a super b is a match for what your mods are and the special has a bigger exhaust and air side which works great with more fuel but witg just your chip its not spooling the way it needs too.

When did this issue start? Any changes to the truck before the issue started?

i always thought it was alittle doggish when i bought it and it was all stock ( i had a modded 06 b4 this one) the first thing i did was put gauges in and it ran about the same ( low boost high egts) took it to a dealer and they said it had a bad waste gate so i thought the new turbo would fix it. then i thought the turbo was just lagging so came the chip and manifold.
