You can buy a code reader for $10. Plugs in, shows the code(s), and then you look them up. The more you spend, the more it will tell you about the code.

all over the place - parts stores etc. Expect to pay $100 for a decent one. Even Amazon.com or ebay.


You are looking for an OBDII code scanner

If you have a 24V you need one of these along with a fuel pressure guage as a minimum.

 

i bought mine for $150 code reader and freeze data well worth it flashing check engine is very bad and can cause serious damage. look for damage and oil in the turbo and around it.
