I replaced my TPS cuz I was having some issues and once I replaced it, it seemed to be fixed then acted up again. Put the Smarty on stock, unhooked the batteries and turned headlights on to drain all power for about an hour. Hooked everything back up, then tuned it with the Smarty and no isues since. Might wanna try it, also clean your battery terminals while you have them off.

Smarty doesn't matter. If you have a tuner just put your truck on stock tune. Then unhook your batteries and turn your lights on. That will drain all the rest of the power. Leave it sit for a while and hook your batteries back up and test drive it. I know it seems stupid but for whatever reason I had to do that on mine after I did a new TPS and its been fixed ever since.
