Opinions?
I have the opportunity to purchase a 98.5 Ram 3500 extended cab dually with under 200k miles for $3000. The interior and body are in great condition just needs to be detailed. From what we can see the only things needing fixing is the injection pump and speedometer. Is this a deal that i should not pass up? How hard is it to change the injection pump, and should the lift pump be changed also just for safe measure? And how likely would it be for me to flip the truck for a profit after fixing it? Also are there any other issues i should look for that is common with these trucks.
I would like to have the truck for myself, but my wife wont allow me to have more than 1 vehicle so I want to know if it would be a smart investment for a quick turn around.
