Haven't checked codes the service engine light not on also sometimes start up fine run then the oil light pressure goes 0 and lift pump off. And strarts runin crappy and break up top end and white smokes I took a jumper wire and plugged in lift pump and turns back on. does the injection pump also have a power source that would turn off?

check your fuses sounds like you dont have any power at the data port.

and i still think your pump is bad, just because the psi go's to 0 dosnt mean there is air in the line, you just unplugged the pump there is no more pressure the fuel is just sitting there

if scanner won't connect check fuses, i can't remember which fuse it is, but I'm sure someone on here will... just because you have fuel pressure doesn't mean the vp can't go out. instead of adding another return check valve replace the one on the vp.

even changing the OFV will be pointless if it has a p0215 code or any other pump code, since the codes have still not been checked
