ive had it down to a shop once or twice for it.. ive tried the cold water truck but dumping it ontop of the vp and that worked... and the vp misses and cuts out under heavy load

 

i have saw this many times. fass had me to hook the lift pump up with it not running in the crank mode. the problem is in the vp though. we have saw guys get a lot more miles by doing this before they had to change the vp.
