Buy TCw3 rated oil... Just look on the bottle if its TCw3 rated or compliant. As mentioned its "Outboard Boat motor oil"... Other stuff may not mix properly and clog your injectors.

I have been running wal-mart brand in mine for couple of years now. Noticeably quiter. I use 1oz per gallon. That was what I read.

I can't say whether it gives me a boost in mpg's or helps my VP44. What I can say is that without a doubt my 2002 2500 4x4 QC idles smoother and quieter with 2-stroke mixed with the fuel.

Many recommend about a 100:1 mix or about 1 oz per gallon. I typically just put one 16oz bottle in per fill up and usually take about 20-24gallons so I'm running less than 100:1 and can still tell my vehicle idles quieter/smoother. By using the 16oz bottles, I can dump an entire bottle into the tank and throw the empty away. I don't like putting partially used containers of oil back in my truck, over the years I've had too many messes because of them.

My truck definitely idles quieter with 2 stroke oil in it. I run one ounce of the walmart ashless stuff per gallon

I do the same thing for the same reason. I never need a FULL 35 gallons...

If you fill up at 1/2 tank or so but still add 16oz then you will even out. Some times a little more oil (less diesel on fill up to your 16oz) or sometimes other way around (letting tank get low)

If I know for sure I've run it down a bunch and mix is getting thin I will go hog wild and put in 2 or 3 16oz containers.

I keep my containers though and refill them. Buying the big jug around here is quite a bit cheaper! I am still trying to find a container to fill that wont leak but holds a good amount.
I have spilled some of that white bottle diesel treatment in the truck and it smells sooooooo bad
