With that fluctuation ontemp I wouln't worry about it, if you had 25 for a high & much cooler lows I would, the coldest my garage gets is 27 degrees,I've never plugged it in always starts,I do let it warm up 10-15 min before using,

you can plug it in... it makes the truck have not so hard cold starts and it doesnt effect anything if its just plugged in. i leave mine plugged in for a week if im away and its winter.

I drove fire truck for most of a career and they were always plugged in with a hot start and trickle charger. I don't recall a single issue in 27 years. I plug my personal rig in anytime, summer or winter, I know I will be using it. This is just my personal opinion but I think the closer to operating temp the engine is when started the better for it. Mine has not been started since I shut it off yesterday afternoon and it's been plugged in since and will be until I next use it.

I plug mine in under 30 degrees just because I can. But I've left mine unplugged at -20 and it started no problem

I go without plugging my truck in. It gets down well below 20*F here for days straight. Truck starts up perfect every time. Besides...a lot of people do the grid heater delete and they still start up. So I wouldn't worry too much about it.
