I have a 98.5 24 valve, with a Edge juice with attitude, and an AIR DOG. My problem is i have intermittent no start. the air dog runs like it should, 1 to 2 psi in run position. but when you turn it over, no fire. try as much as you want wont run. 5 to 10 min later it will fire and run just as normal, any ideas? crank position sensor is about two years old.

 

Unplug ejwa first off and see if that makes a diff. Get it scanned for codes. Read data while cranking if possible, to see if the crank snsr. and tps ect are reading normal.

sorry ... Edge Jucie With Attitude...mine had similar problem and it was the tone ring on the crankshaft that had shattered and only part of it was still there. What is your fuel pressure?

 

fuel press with the key in run with out engine running 1 or 2 psi according to edge. sometimes the lift pump wont run, giving the 2 psi to start, sometimes the lift pump will make the 2 psi and it still wont start. Another bit of info, possibly related, any time of year the air dog wont run untill WAIT TO START comes on, which is up to 15 seconds after key is turned to run position. The truck WILL NOT start untill the lift pump has made it's short cycle.
