24v fuel economy crap. need valve adjustment?

Default 24v fuel economy crap. need valve adjustment?

so im getting like 15-16 highway mpg in 6th gear at 68mph from what ive read thats crap so whats wrong? getting plenty of fuel now with the airdog and the comp box is set on 3. i started reading about valve adjusting and the trucks got 190k. not sure if its ever been done. is that something to look into and will that help my mpg of they are out of adjustment? thanks

Wouldn't hurt to slip some feelers in them valves and adjust them, I didn't really notice a mileage change after I did mine.

May need to reset the APPS, that may help or it could just be the winter fuel blend.

Not sure where you are located but I know I get worse mileage in the winter do to the winter blend fuels. Ultra low sulfur diesel has also had a negative affect on mileage.

Easiest way to find out if it will help you is by doing it.

When I did mine I didn't notice any change in MPG.

Never had that come up with my tapatalk. But then again you may have a featured turned on that I don't.
