computer issue???

Ok I have a 2001 but the programmer I have is reading as a 2000 I'm confused i was at the understanding that you couldn't swap the year of the computer am I wrong or what

is it a edge juice module? if so you just need to change the setting for year. other than that what are you running in the truck? fill out your sig

The programmer is a little hypertech deal that came with the truck, its nothing special and no way to change the year it just pops up when u plug it in but will still read the two codes i have

Check the Prod date on the door and the VIN (10th position) 1=2001 and Y=2000

Second that one, check the build date, my truck is titled as a 2001, but is actually a left over 2000, drum brakes, old style sensor conectors.
