Default Ignition Problems

My ignition is startin to get tempermental. Here and there the key won't turn on. It turns backwards for the accessories but not to the start position. I tried the spare key and it's the same and I've tried turnin the steering wheel to see if the lock was just caught up and that made no changes either.

Give me some ideas. Or does this thing just need to go to the locksmith for a new cylinder and be done with it.

Been doin it off and on for a few weeks now and so far if I keep playin with it it wil finally go, I'm just witin for the time it leaves me stuck someplace. Wheel lock was my first thought but movin the steering wheel around doesn't let anything loose. In the past when I had that problem moving the wheel would let it go. I hate the thought of havin to pull the column apart.

I've had to do it before when the turn signal module went out. Just takes a coupe safety torx sizes for these trucks.
