Default I Need New Brake Pads ASAP...What To Get?

Well my front pads are shot and I need some replacements SOON. What should I get? I want something better than the autozone crap. Also who has good deals on Hawks or is there a better pad out there?

Also doesn't Hawk make two different types of pads?

I havent used them but Porterfields are supposed to be good:

You have to be careful what you use...changing pads is a lot easier than changing rotors so IMO stay away from the Ceramic ones.

Geno's Garage has a decent price on the Hawks, and they're in your area. Atlanta-ish....

Owned by the same folks who own TDR....good people.

Yeah I got the Hawk pads from them and they seem to do pretty well. I'll be using them again.

I carry Hawk Pads, But let me mention if your not going aftermarket on the rotors there worthless. If you doing your own break jobs, get the cheapies, They stop the best and dont get as hot, You'll suffer from less warped rotors and headache! I've also noticed that even with the top dollar expensive pads, The glaze on factory rotors! Just an opinion!

I tow 15k# with my truck daily in the summer & have tried alot of different pads. I have found the Napa Fleet pads to be the best for severe duty. I have to order them, but they are worth the wait. Advanced Auto can get them also...just ask for severe duty fleet pads.
