ok. here it goes.

every morning when i go to my truck (about a week now) i honks when i unlock the doors. now. i know no-one is messing with my truck (breaking into it) cause i even had it in the garage locked-up. and only first thing in the morning. does anyone know why its doing this. i have month old batteries. and they arre perfectly charged. nothing new installed. except my turbo and stack. i looked over wire to see if anything could have gotten pulled loose or snagged etc.

as of yesturday. it does it almost everytime i open the truck it seems. doesnt make anydiffrence it has been raining or not. sitting for 5 minits or hours.

help me im losing my mind . and the neighbors dont like it eitther when its 3am.

 

Are you using your Factory Fob?

 

Look in the owners manual. Should tell how to set up to where it only flashes for lock and unlock

 

yes, and i just got a 3rd new one. the others are worn out . it does it with all of them


wildbill. it has not done more then honk when i lock the truck in 5 years. i dont like the the lights flashing etc. just the horn so i can hear if anyone tries to open the doors etc.

have you tried just reprogramming the way it unlocks the doors? with mine it just unlocks the doors and turns the dome light on. if thats not it maybe try a new security replay.

 

Um, just use the key to open the door man? That works on my truck.
