At my witts end here...

Bought an 01 cummins, 5 speed thaat had a rod knock. So i bought an 01 long block. Swap went fine but we cant get it started. Ive gone threw every bleeding procedure i can fine and we are getting good fuel pressure too the injectors. Truck has a new hotrod vp44 injection fump and fass 150. It ran before the swap! The motor i got to replace it also ran just came out of a wreched 01.

It turns over great, and we're getting white smoke. It'll start on a small shot of ether but wont hold rpm no matter how much i press the pedal.

We pulled a p1690 and so i pulled the old cam sensor off the original motor and swapped em. Cleared the code and it threw it again. Ive checked and rechecked ALL electricaal conectors...

Ive searched up and down every forum i can... is there anyone out there that knows what we're missing here!?
