My 01 2500 5.9l cummins was starting really hard, finally one morning it just wouldn't start. I replaced the lift pump, fuel filter, and injector pump. It still won't start and it's not throwing any codes. Any suggestions?????

 

What exactly is it doing? Any clicking, grinding... Anything? Have you checked your starter? Batteries? Details man, details!

All the thing is doing is cranking over. I'm thinking it could be a sensor, but where to start?? I'm not sure what all controls the cummins starting, which makes things harder.

 

New oem lift pump? on block? can you hear pump priming if you bump starter? Have you cracked injector lines to bleed air out?

 

Ok here we go...truck wouldn't start one day, so I replaced the injector pump. Read a write up about the vp44 and invested in a new lift pump n fuel filter. I bleed the filter housing, then the injector lines that I can get to. The lift pump is cycling properlyy far as I can tell.
