I need to check my valves.... How hard was that? What tools did you need?

You need a feeler gauge (.10 and .20), barring tool, allen keys and some standard and metric wrenches/sockets. Also an extra set of hand definitely helps.

I'll betcha mine did the three cylinder thing this morning, I thought something was fubared, scared the heck outta me at 5 this morning when I had it running.

I don't remember honestly. I have been getting up at 5 this week for work and I usually don't have to be up till 7:30 so I'm a little out of it. It's done high idle before but it sounded different this morning so I'd bet it did the three cylinder thing. scared me for a second when it sounded different.

3 cylinder high idle sounds so bad ***! I think it has to be 10*F for it to kick in?

it was a jolly 11 below when I started my truck this morning, tomorrow is suppossed to be worse
