Another option is batteries from caterpillar. I found a battery that is slightly longer and taller than the stock battery that's a group 31 with 1000 cca and is less than 140 a battery. Its the same style battery that goes in over the road trucks. I can't remember the part number off the top of my head though

I run Interstate group 27's. They are the MegaTron Plus. 1000cca and 850ca. Couldn't be happier, great batteries, about 100 bucks a whack, and yes always replace in pairs.

I bought Auto Zone for my Cummins around 100$ each installed with a good warranty three years ago and no problems. My truck is not garaged and we often have 20* weather in Alabama.
