When you say it was the lift pump but got it running does that mean you wasted money on a factory pump or did you go with an aftermarket?

well save up for a vp44 that will most likely go out next. sounds like you have been low on fuel pressure and the lift pump finally quit and thats not good on the injection pump

well my lift pump went out with out me knowing over a year ago and the vp44 is still kickin (knock on wood). but i can definitely tell by the poor mileage and performance

well yes it means i wasted money on a new and improved OEM pump. But the aftermarket would have set me back 4 more days and this is a work truck that makes me money. so I will get a better one soon. The main thing is it's back on the road and hauling stuff.
