On another note, I pulled my door lock switch apart, I know I am getting power to it because if I push down on the lock side, it blows the fuse. Do I have a short somewhere?

the right oil in your trans is most important for your needle bearing on the backside of your input shaft. There are 3 very small holes through your 4th gear on your mainshaft that oils that bearing, and synthetic is the only way that it gets lubed.
Just spent $700 in parts building my nv4500. Also if 3-4 is the only place you are having trouble, it could also be a cracked shift fork. I had this one happen to me in a borg warner t-18 in a ford , and again in a 4spd saginaw out of a chevy, but is a possibility in any manual trans. if it is, sooner or later, it will only go in one gear and out of the other with ease.

on your windows, try cleaning and lubing the roller tracks. common problem on all high mileage power windows.

not to keep backtracking, but my buzzer doesn't work on purpose... I disabled it. I believe your wipers are also controlled by your central timer unit. it is under the dash beneath the steering column.

Try double clutching 3rd if the fluid change doesn't work. 3rd grinds sometimes in my 99, but if I double clutch it; it works fine. You may have to hit the throttle after double clutching if the syncros are bad, but if you are broke you can live with it till you get some money to buy a 6spd or rebuild the 5spd. A new stock clutch is ~$200 from advance.
