Try banging really hard on the side of the tank and see if you can dislodge the float. Sometimes they hang up

Mine crapped out and ran out at 1/4 tank.ordered a sending unit and drawstraw to compliment the raptor 150 pump I installed.just make sure you index the fuel module in the tank right or the float hits the side of the tank and sticks(don't ask how I know) if you need the part # for the sender only let me know,I've heard.some parts guys try to sell you the updated module with intank pump.

YUP, i found that out the hard way.... stranded on interstate....out of fuel, the day after i bought the truck. I used a new Airtex Module my buddy had just bought for his 03 and didnt end up using, took the pump out and added the Vulcan DS-V, works like a dream.
If you dont want to mess with the 2 different parts, Vulcan sells the "Modified Liberty" Fuel module that comes with draw straw already installed.
Modified liberty fuel module

The drawstraw is a larger diameter pickup for the fuel tank.when you up the power and demand for fuel,it helps with fuel flow to the vp$$ pump.
