1st question. I bought my truck in august it had 197xxx when I got it..trans was rebuilt around 182. Its an excab longbed 4x4. Only rust is above wheel and rocker. I paid 7k..is that a good deal? Next question is would it be worth havin the body work done and painted and putting a 5sp in. Or am I just wasting money?

 

Sounds like a good price. If you have the money and time I say get rid of the cancer and paint her. You could put a 5 speed in there or just build up the auto you have now. A built auto can take some hardcore abuse.

 

I would love to do a built auto just can't see droppin 5k for one
