Nope not bad at all I thought it said $250 to replace a leaky seal and I was like WHAT?!

You mentioned its all fixed but to answer your question, the NV4500 comes with Castrol Syntorque from the factory and its highly advised to ONLY run that lube. The 4500 has composite fiber syncros and the OEM fluid is the only lube that guarantees not to harm those fiber syncros. All other trannys come with brass syncros. Hopefully your tranny shop replaced it with OEM fluid.
