I was driving home today with my camper, and started hearing a tick that sounded like an exhaust leak. so I drove on it for a while, it got louder, so I popped the hood. couldn't find anything, stopped again a couple miles later, and decided that the noise was in the trans. Started up again, and discovered that it was making the noise in all gears but 4th, so I drove home in 4th, about 100 miles.

Any ideas on what parts I am going to need to find?

turns out, I had three missing teeth on the countershaft 4th gear, and some overstressed bearings. also, turns out, it is not a good idea to run the engine temp up to 240 when you are pulling a long hill when it is 112 degrees outside...
