Fuel Pressure ?
I just put my new gauges in (Isspro) boost & fuel pressure it seems everyone on here said the pressure was a must on my year! So I put it in and I have looked at other post saying it should be 13psi at idle mine is at 11 1/2 to 12 is this a bad thing 1 to 1 1/2 psi lower then you guys say it should be, the only other reading I could get for now is WOT and that sits at 6 1/2 to 7 psi. My boost is another question for you guys, at idle 0 and WOT 20 psi are these good #'s? Thanks again for your help ( I know DAMN rookies)

Your in good shape for a stock truck right where your at. The fuel pressure just needs to stay above around 8 psi at all times, give or take 1 or 2 psi is fine. That's the safety margin. If you can ever pull it below that it's time for a fix.
The 20 psi for Boost is a little low but nothin to worry about, when you put some basic BOMBS on it you will be hittin 30psi plus.
Hold on tight, it's a bumpy ride from here on.

You won't get more than 25 pounds on a stock truck. Take said truck add some programmer or box to it and it will climb to a decent number. If that is all you do it will be safe to 38 pounds. You start getting in the danger zone when it sees more than 42 without head studs, gaskets and so on. That said, it is highly unlikely that a stock turbo setup would get you there anyway... Well, at least for a long period anyway.
My 2002 Cummins has big 150HP injectors, 4" exhaust, stock turbo, a FASS 150, gauges, a smarty box for smoke and an edge comp to reduce the smoke (yeah, I know sounds strange) and I rarely see boost above 34 pounds.

Being mildly modified up to about 500hp you shouldn't see much drop in pressure. If your running 12psi at idle you will probably drop to 10psi at WOT. Once you start bombing the fueling rate (ie. injectors, modified CP3, heavy tuning) you will start seeing a significant drop in pressure which will require you to step up to a 150gph unit. Like Whit said, if your mildly modded then you shouldnt see much drop in pressure. If you do you've got issues with the fuel delivery system.
