I was driving my 01 home tonight when it fell flat of its face no warning. It will still idle but give it any throttle and its breaking up terrible (all but dying). I got 3 dtc's p0251,p0252,p1688. I'm afraid I lost the IP. If so, any suggestions on a new pump, and how much trouble to put on. Thanks

 

Prob. the lift pump, or PMD of course, all go bad, in every single truck, lets petition for a recall.. good luck.. were all having the same problem at some time in our ownership.

It turned out, I did lose the I.P.. I called Blue Chip, and after talking to Chip, I ordered the Special X pump. I got it on, and the truck seems to run smoother and stronger than ever.

 

Good deal man, I have been running mine for 5 or so years now and it is still going strong.

 

better get a lift pump in her before you are buying another ip

 

I'm running a Fass DDRP right now. Seems to be working good. (maintaining 15psi)
