how do i take out a silencer ring out of my 24 valve cummings

Lets point a few things out shall we.
1. Its CUMMINS!
2. This is the wrong section
3. There is a search function for time waisting stuff like this.

well instead of being a jerk about something ill start by saying welcome to the site. and wrong or not where you post its not a big deal we will still help you. all you have to do is remove the air intake elbow then get a pick and a flat screw driver and pull the snap ring out and its done. just be carfeful not to stab yourself prying on it or stabing into the turbo. shouldnt take more than 10 minutes from start to finish. good luck on this if you need any more help please let some of us that are willing to help know.

This will make the turbo whistle louder, but you won't gain any performance.

i hate when ppl do that crap on here when there is no reason for it at all. momma always told me if you dont have anything nice to say then shut the hell up
