Truck Died
I am new I have a 2000 cummins, and it died. I have Codes P01688 and P01689 and had 8 PSI with KOEO at the filter housing. I have a in tank pump so it must have had the recall. I just put a Air Dog 100 on my truck yesterday.
Is it okay to cut off the supply line for the in tank pump and just run a piece of Fuel line hose to the bottom of the pump bowl, I cut it at a angle to prevent sucking to the bottom. This is my new line supply for my Air Dog?
My truck still doesn't start, I need a new VP 44.
Any help greatly appreciated,

Did you get it running? When I put my air dog in I don't remember needing to cut any lines other than the filler neck to put the back flow piece in. The old lines I simply disconnected and zip tied them out of the way.
I got the truck up and running with the New Vp 44 it went very smooth it was a lot easier than i thought it would be.
I made made my own draw straw out of Fuel line hose, i hope that works.
I towed my buddies skid steer about 8,500 lbs up to Red Feather Lake and the truck did great!
