sorry forgot this, didn't think it mattered..... Truck has an 01 motor and trans in it not the 99

the 99 will also lock in third with the od off or with a lock up controller. it might be worth the money to take it to a trans shop and have them diagnose it to see what it is then fix it. it would be a lot cheaper than guessing on it and throwing parts at it.

I have a wire that isn't plugged in anywhere that came lose from somewhere.... but i can't see where it matches up to or plugs in.... How do you post a picture on here?

here it is....... its the black wire but i cant see where it goes to or anyother wire that matches up with it

this probably has to do with something when the motor and trans were swapped out....did dodge change the color wires from those years?

Well I stand corrected. Its been so long mine locks up in second now.
Is that an aftermarket VB? I thought stock did not lock in second? Just curious it's been a long time since I had a stock one.
