Default need help 99 24v cutting out

im having a big problem with my truck when i downshift or sometimes even on easy throttle the power to the dash and tst box and everything else including the lift pump will stay on but the engine just dies and it takes several tries and pumping the pedal to get it to crank back i just put a new lift pump and hot rod vp44 on it cuz we thought that they were the initial problem but it didnt change anything i even had the computer reflashed at a dealer could it be a throttle positioning sensor or may i be looking at alot more money?

But you clearly have an issue besides the pump. You need to figure out what's killing the vp. They don't just quit. Do you have fp gauge? What lift or pusher are you running?

If your pump came from industrial they warranty em, unless you seized the rotor, which basically means you ran 0 fp for X amount of time. They say anything about that?

Sounds like when you let off its letting air get into the fuel system. But i could be wrong just a thought.
