hx 35 swap help!

hx 35 swap help!

i need to know i have a 2001 24 valve with the stock hy35 and i want to know if an hx35 off of a 97 12 valve will mount on without any new parts or not please help

I put an HX35W on my 01 auto, only issue is mounting. Some studs and bolts are in different locations. Bolt hole pattern is the same though.

so it will mount up then for the most part u will just have to move some bolts around or what im going to do it tonight or atleast try

yep just have to move some of the studs around and it will bolt up no problem

Or pull the studs out and put in some grade 8

make sure you get a divided turbine housing gasket, not the one for the undivided hy35 housing you will notice a spool difference between the two. Just a couple of bucks for them anyway
