Hey yall I swapped out my entire front diff housing with a craigslist special. Fluid looked good so I didn't think $250 was bad at all since mine was bent up. NOW , the 4x4 light is on when t case is on 2wd. The drive shaft is locked and wont free spin. What's wrong? No noise at all outta the diff. When u put in 4x4 the light goes off n it don't feel like it engages fully sometimes.

 

Between the transfercase and diff?

Almost sounds like the actuator is working backwards.

 

check that the vac lines are not crossed up upon install to actuator causing opposite engagment
