I got an 01 3500 it misses at idel but if u turn the ac on it goes away and when ur driving it doesnt miss i think it still has the stock vp but it has a cold air intake and a 4 in strait pipe

 

well, i have an 02 3500 that misses at idle too, but only after u put it in gear and back in park. i think its in the ecm??????

 

mines a stick and it only misses at idel its drivin me crazy

 

well i spoke to a friend that has a 05 cummins auto, his developed a "miss" at idle then got worse and worse the only time he heard it was at idle and no load. all the time gradually getting worse then found out one of the injector nozzles was cracked. so he replaced with bosch mopar. then cracked another after replaceing all 6. so im going to hunt around for injectors. been looking at the ddp 125hp "vaporizers" that throughobred diesel sells.
