superchip?

I bought an 01 cummins and it came with a superchip. Now one of my buddys says that superchips can glaze the cylinders on my truck i was wonderin if this is true or not?

absolutly not they do not make near enough hp difference to do that. worst case the superchip can mess with the ecu some deppending on which one it is. but thats mostly on common rails.
