Default Day time running lights

Hey Oh! So I have a 02 dodge Canadian built with daytime running lights. They shut down when the parking brake is clicked but then the brake light is on in the gauge cluster. Any tricks to make them stay off? Thanks

Why do you want them off? They are on for a reason, safety. Too many people run around without any lights on. I flash everyone I come across that doesn't have daytime running lights or marker lights on.

Not a legal requirement in the US like it is in Canada.

If Im not mistaken, there is the DRL module on the drivers fender that you can unplug and the problems "should" go away.

Head lights are for when its dark. I have no problem turning them on when I need them. If someone can't see my truck coming without headlights on then they have bigger issues. I just dont like my head lights on at all times plus they shine into the rear view of cars when I'm behind folks. Like sitting at a stop light. I would like to be able to switch them off or just not have the daytime lights on.

i have one to and oddly enough, i need another module. Mine took a dump and i sprayed wd40 in the connections and left unplugged to dry out for a few days. headlights still work fine unplugged from module i would tape or cover to prevent crap from gettig in and shorting.....I would love to take that module off your hands, seriously! I want my DRL's back. Let me know ASAP but unplug it in the driveway and pull the head/highbeams to make sure im not full of crap. And I still want that box!

Problem is 90% of people that think this way DON'T turn them on when they should.
