lift pump

Default lift pump

Just realized i have a in the tank lift pump. any advice on if they are good or not?

They are the typical dodge crappy lifts pumps IMO. First thing I would do is get a Fuel Pressure Gauge to monitor how well your lift pump is working.

alright, i just got a low fp senor that i'm gonna do this weekend till i actually have the money to get a airdog lift pump. when i do that will i have to take out all the stuff in the tank, get new lines and what not too?

Yeah the Air Dog will come with everything needed to install it, pump, mount, fuel lines, draw straw, harness etc. And you will need to modify the sending unit to allow the Airdog to function properly. Here is how we modify the sending unit.

The Vulcan Draw Straw V works as well. I have one in my truck and I never have 1/4 tank issues.

Just Make sure your drill the 5/8 holes at the bottom of your module like in Vinny's Install photos.

I didn't drill any extra holes in mine. Doesn't seem to be a problem.....so far.

I drilled the holes that Vulcan had recommended and I had 1/4 tank stutter. I ended up droping the tank again and taking a uni bit and drill 5/8 holes on either side. Pretty much what Vinny did and I havent had a problem.
